Loan Operations Manager
About The Role Provides leadership to the Loan Operations personnel through effective objective setting, delegation, and communication. Responsible for directly supervising the Loan Servicing Supervisor, Loan Operations QC Manager and Consumer Loan Operations. Responsible for ensuring seamless deliverables from the teams, stepping in to assist as needed. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBLITES AND DUTIES: Leadership: Supervises the Loan Servicing Supervisor, Loan Operations QC Manager and Consumer Loan Operations. Develops and document processes for GBCI Consumer Loan Program as adopted by Wheatland Bank Division. Monitors and adjusts processes as needed Develops training and processes for front line branch personnel and back-office personnel Spearheads the training process along with Consumer Loan Manager for front line personnel in person and virtual Outline, document needed personal for the department. Act as the hiring manager when approved. Supervise Consumer Operations personnel Develop Division Collection processes for Consumer Loans and supervise. Monitors and adjusts processes as needed Conducts Monthly Loan Servicing staff meetings and informs personnel of policy and procedural changes. Leads Monthly Loan Processor Meetings and sets agenda with Loan Operations Director. Along with the Loan Servicing Supervisor, ensure Loan Servicing personnel are well trained, effective and optimally utilized Act as the Person in Charge in the absence of the Loan Operations Director.. Manages and maintains the Loan Operations Intranet page. Supports employees and other departments within the Wheatland Bank, specifically the lending platform. Compliance and Reporting: Completes Monthly Summary of GBCI Loan Ops QC Reviews. Including any adjustments to training and procedures as defined by the QC findings. Develops, implements, monitors and modifies Loan Servicing policies and procedures, including flowcharting of processes. Generates and maintains additional loan support division job aides and work-flow guides. Assists with Wheatland Bank QC reviews and 2nd Review Adverse Actions for Commercial Compliance. Maintains Loan Section of Wheatland Bank COGNOS Reports by creating and distributing reports on demand and scheduling daily, weekly and monthly burst reports.. Plans for special projects and delegates accordingly Completes, delegates, reviews daily, monthly and quarterly reports that are assigned by the Director of Loan Operations or the Chief Credit Officer. Provides administrative support to the Director of Loan Operations, CCO and CFO as needed. Other assigned duties. About You QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor degree in a business related field or five years of related work experience Minimum of five years banking experience specifically in Loan Servicing or Credit Administration Minimum of two years supervisory experience preferred including supervising managers. KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY: Operate and read computer terminal screen. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with customers and staff. Communicate/hear telephone conversations. Operate 10-key calculator. Lift up to 35 pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Position will be ina quiet office setting. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.
