Loan Origination Specialist IV

Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) supports several lines of businesses that include Business Banking, Commercial Bank, Global Wealth Management, and Investment Bank. 

The Equipment Finance Deal Setup & Booking Team is a production-based operations function within WLS responsible for the set up and booking of new loans, renewals, and amendments/modifications for Equipment Finance products. The key loan accounting system used by the Deal Set Up team is LeasePak.

The Loan Origination Specialist IV role works closely with internal partners to coordinate tasks for commercial facilities from transaction profile and setup through booking.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Set up of highly complex transactions in the application, LeasePak.  It is a fast-paced environment, periodic volume of work, that builds the foundation for career progression into many different roles within  Onboarding as well as roles in Portfolio Services and Quality Control.  Responsible for review of the credit approval and corresponding documents to complete deal set up in LeasePak within designated Service Levels Data entry of customer, facility, and loan details into the loan system(s) Submission of new work for quality control and creation of electronic document files Timely attestation/correction of Quality errors and Service Level breaches Maintain prompt and proactive communication with business partners as to the status of their booking case Escalate rush requests as appropriate to ensure customer expectations are met Maintain a working knowledge of required systems and procedure changes to support deal setup and funding activities that evolve Minimize credit and business risk through awareness of procedure, compliance, and bank policy Participating in projects and working groups as required

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills: 

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.). Ability to navigate and consistently update internal workflow systems  Exceptional customer service skills including excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize workloads while working within tight service levels. Above average quality of work with minimal error rate. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work in a team environment Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy with completed work Ability to consistently maintain high performance levels in high-volume peaks Ability to think outside the box and generate ideas for process improvement High level of ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders and work independently in a high volume fast paced environment.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills: 

Internal to JPM Chase Manila with prior experience in setup or booking/ auto finance business/ Loan processing Prior loan operations and/or quality control experience in a banking or financial services industry
