Description Our client is seeking a dedicated Loan Processor to support their underwriting team. This position is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of loan processing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: + Review loan applications for completeness and accuracy. + Collect and verify supporting documentation from borrowers. + Communicate with clients, loan officers, and underwriters to ensure smooth processing of loans. + Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the loan process. + Assist the underwriting team in preparing loan files for approval and finalizing loan packages. + Manage and track loan progress from application to closing. + Maintain accurate records and update loan tracking systems as necessary. Requirements Qualifications: + Prior experience in loan processing, underwriting, or a related field is required. + Strong knowledge of loan types (conventional, FHA, VA, etc.) and underwriting guidelines. + Excellent communication and customer service skills. + Ability to multitask and work efficiently under tight deadlines. + Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. + Proficiency with loan management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
