Loan Processor and Quality Assurance II
LOAN PROCESSOR AND QUALITY ASSURANCE II WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? Provide Loan Documentation and Compliance support in facilitating loan processing preparation, and loan boarding. Ensures that all loan processing packages are in compliance with company policies and procedures and state/federal regulatory guidelines. Serves as a liaison with sales team, underwriting team, and documentation team to ensure all loans are properly packaged for Documentation. What you will do Loan Administration Obtain and review all necessary loan information to prepare appropriate loan documents, including credit approvals, appraisals, borrowing authority documentation, contracts, CC&Rs, leases, title information, request for demand any additional information as needed to perfect the bank’s position and reflect the terms of the credit approval. Take appropriate action on any issues that arise to meet the requested document due date. Communicate with title officers to ensure that all title issues are satisfied and the loan is properly recorded and funded within established time frames. Monitor loan funding date and arrival of information for a complete package. Maintain loan checklist database with accurate and current tracking. Produce activity report upon request. Act as a Liaison to other departments within the Bank to resolve questions pertaining to the processing package; may contact customers or their professional representatives for responses to document the loan as directed by supervisor. Initiate and prepare Loan Documentation Checklist and verification of approval authority for submission to the CLC. Ensure all CCAR related fields are completed accurately. Prepare loan funding package with appropriate GL offsets and index loan documents for scanning. Maintain current knowledge of real estate loan documentation through continued enrollment in Bank and other-provider courses related, but not limited to, computer-based lending, and the Community Reinvestment Act; remains abreast of additions and changes to federal and state legislation related to both commercial and real estate lending; keeps abreast of the climate of real estate and general business markets. Maintain a proactive commitment to established Bank programs, such as Customer First, Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and Equal Employment Opportunity. Duties may include file room maintenance (e.g., archiving, filing, updating, File Tracker, etc.). Post Closing- Quality Assurance Manage credit file and documentation file preparation for post loan closing compliance review. Insure files contain applicable checklists and required components. Work closely with credit team to complete files while reporting to management issues and delays in deficiency correction. Record and manage MIS relative to receipt and to measure efficient movement of completed files to the compliance team. Input applicable commentary into the workflow system to provide an audit trail. Be able to report to management status of receipts and state of completion as required. Work closely with the compliance team, manage post-closing checklist updates to ensure continued adherence to current policies and workflows. Communicate changes to credit support staff and ensure that usage is consistent across all support teams. Report to management as required where either usage or forms are not meeting compliance criteria as defined. Participate in team meetings to ensure that issues are communicated ensure ongoing compliance and to receive feedback from the units as to any suggested corrections and modifications. Diploma Minimum 2 years of loan processing experience in a financial institution required. Minimum 2 years of basic computer experience(e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) required Skills and Knowledge Strong interpersonal/teamwork skills and effective working with all levels in the organization Strong written and oral communication skills; must be able to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner Strong tactical execution and organizational/planning skills Functional knowledge of Microsoft Access and SharePoint Efficient, yet with a keen eye for detail and accuracy Resourceful, creative and willing to learn Position requires individual that is independent, has high energy/enthusiasm and the ability to analyze/solve problems and identify opportunities Must be able to tactfully and diplomatically resolve conflicts among stakeholders and participants in all assigned projects Compensation Starting base salary: $25.93 - $41.43 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
