Job Description:At Regions, the Loan Servicing Liquidation Specialist reviews documents and files related to foreclosures.
Primary Responsibilities
Ensures that files and paperwork are properly and accurately completedContacts outside parties to collect or clarify documentationEnsures assigned foreclosure loans are handled in accordance with company policies and procedures, investor guidelines, state laws, and federal regulationsConducts complete review of litigated and contested matters to ensure all default and/or court timeframes are met; escalates appropriate matters for reviewMonitors the foreclosure process to ensure the loan/file is being worked and proceeds to sale in a timely mannerMonitors the preparation and execution of all documents related to the foreclosure actionInitiates actions, as needed, to protect the priority of our claim and to minimize loss to the investor and the servicerResponds to all correspondence, requests, and communications regarding assigned files in a timely and professional mannerThis position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Loan servicing experience
Additional responsibilities
Assist with audit responses both internally and externally
Pulling internal audit reports
Back up lead position by assisting with work flow management and QC of work products

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions.
