Loan Servicing Rep III
**Position** : Loan Servicing Rep III **Requisition ID:** : 1597 The Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible servicing all loans including Residential Real Estate, Consumer,and/or Commercial loans. Loan Servicing Specialist to perform a variety of Loan Servicing functions for Real Estate and/or Consumer Loans. Assist members and other departments with regards to post loan requests from inception through payoff. Conducts loan account information research, loan adjustments, insurance monitoring, payment processing, member service, special loans and other various tasks to support front-line, and Members inquiries. Assist in training and mentoring newly hired staff members. **ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Respond to both internal and external members’ inquiries in a timely manner. + Manage inquiries and correspondence about mortgage loans effectively and professionally. + Completes research and processing of Real Estate and/or Consumer loan account issues such as disputes, transaction / data corrections, payment method modification, processing standard payment transactions and providing Member correspondence and contact. + Facilitate Loss draft insurance requests + Review escrow analysis + Process Reconveyances, Consumer and Real Estate loan demands, and Substitution of Trustee documentation + Evaluate and process loan subordination requests + Prepare payoff demands from Escrow Companies and Real Estate Production, and other requests to provide payoff information in written form + Process payoffs for Real Estate loans and collecting their respective fees, according to established procedures + Monitor insurance policies + Perform loan adjustments and reversals + Process loan skips, deferments requests, and modification requests + Able to lead projects and delegate assignments and responsibilities. + Know critical deadlines of the servicing area. + Able to recognize errors and implement corrections. + Comprehensive knowledge of all loan-servicing functions. + Ability to train, develop and mentor others as applicable + Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment + Provides exceptional Member service, uses Service Standards in every work- related interaction. + Perform callback for transactions related to these processes + Payment corrections and NSF monitoring + Process incoming and outgoing wire transfers and ACH entries. + Perform basic loan servicing, balancing and reporting processes. + Reports status of all open tasks weekly as directed by management + Assist staff in resolving difficult loan issues + Maintain, manage and track all pending loan exceptions + Assist internal clients with product/servicing process questions. + Troubleshoot and resolve client loan issues. + Provide backup coverage on processes as needed. + Lead the team to accomplish business results in the absence of Team lead. + Able to implement operational improvements. + Ensure account compliance with regulations, policies and procedures. + Recognize product exceptions and collaborate with senior specialist or supervisor to resolve. + Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal clients and external contacts by applying excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills. **EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:** + Two-to-three-year related experience and/or training + Working knowledge of Word and Excel. + Ability to prioritize multiple tasks through effective time management and organizations skills. + Self-motivated and ability to adapt quickly to changes and perform in a fast-paced environment. + The ability to build effective relationships as needed to effectively address issues and obstacles. + Working knowledge of the Fidelity servicing system and Jack Henry/Symitar. + Must be detail oriented. The pay range for this position is listed above. Our pay ranges are designed to allow for candidates with various levels of experience and skill to be considered, and to allow room for growth to be achieved in a role over time. Generally, new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their individual combination of experience, knowledge, skills, and education as well as internal equity.
