Local Broking Leader

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Mercer Marsh Benefits team at Mercer Marsh Benefits. This role will be based in Philippines.

This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The Local Broking Leader will be responsible for a mix of account management and broking, providing quality advice and service to clients on their insurance products and risk exposure while partnering with the sales team to grow the business.

We will count on you to:

Conduct, mentor, and oversee performance management of local and multi-national non-GBM clients from small to large client group, ensuring the team is appropriately staffed to meet client needs.Monitor the preparation, management, implementation, and achievement of business plans and goals.Maximize team and account profitability through efficient work practices, adequate client billing, and sensible expense control.Cultivate effective long-term relationships with key client decision-makers and monitor changes within client organizations to protect the Company's relationship with clients.Lead, plan, and implement effective renewal and broking strategies, ensuring renewal performance meets set targets.Recognize and capitalize on revenue generation and growth opportunities by developing additional business from existing portfolios and other sources.Ensure compliance on Broking process, adherence to Compliance and LCPA’s requirements.Maintain an audit trail of all broking activities for compliance and reporting purposesProvide training and mentorship to a group of Client Relationship Managers (CRM), promoting continuous professional developments and adherence to industry standards

What you need to have:

Proven experience in account management and broking, with a strong understanding of risk management and insurance needs.Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage a team effectively.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a focus on client retention and development.Has a good rapport in the insurance and broking industry
