ABOUT THE ROLE In order to keep up with technological developments and remain a leader in the cocoa and chocolate industry, BARRY CALLEBAUT has decided to migrate its TRACEABILITY and SUSTAINABILITY activity monitoring tools to a platform that will better meet its needs. The Farm Force Project Manager will be the focal point with the Corporate, the local TRACEABILITY and SUSTAINABILITY departments and the various partners, to develop, implement and evolve this application. Its central role will be to liaise with the field teams and partners to optimize and rationalize the actions to be taken into account in the deployment of the tool. KEY RESPONSABILITIES INCLUDES The Project Manager will be responsible for: ● Develop a detailed project plan, including milestones, resource allocation, and timelines for the application rollout. ● Following up and monitoring of the project implementation - Reporting to the local management and project team on progress & challenges - Troubleshooting potential problems and ensuring the project remains on schedule - Coordination with the project stakeholders (internal and external) ● Engage with business leaders and end-users to ensure the application meets operational requirements ● Strategic communication: being local change management relay - Operational communication to farmer Group leadership, coaches and back-office teams - Gathers their feedback/questions and shares to Super User and project team - Support for trainings & dissemination of relevant communication ●Responsible for driving UAT and Training strategy - Gathers list of audience and follow up on presence, proactively ensures availability of attendees, chase users - Logistics: room booking, meals, hotels, FF trainers ● Devices: follow up of availability of required hardware, especially during UAT and training - Escalate to local IT if issue during project phase or support - Version release: ensure end-users are using the correct version and follow up on synching ABOUT YOU ● 5 - 8 years project management experience, preferably in a business role ● Minimum 5 year’s experience leading the deployment of an IT tool or apps within a multinational company ● Excellent communication skills in French and English ● Proven experience working with cooperatives or rural communities (nice to have) ● Fluency in both French and English with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages (mandatory) ● Strong project management skills, especially with IT tools deployment ● Proven experience in working in cross-cultural setups ● Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences ● Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and using insights for strategic decision-making ● Experience in developing and delivering training programs tailored to different audiences ● Experience in managing budgets and financial resources effectively, including knowledge of financial reporting and accountability ● Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively ● A demonstrated ability to navigate and respect diverse cultural contexts and practices ● An experience of the cocoa sector would be highly appreciated ● Ability to drive and possess a valid driving license ● Others: be able to go on assignment outside the country ●Solution minded ● Manages and responds to crises effectively and calmly ● Proactive and Flexible ● Cross-cultural sensitivity and adaptability ● Innovative mindset with the ability to develop and implement creative solutions, drive initiatives, and adapt strategies in a dynamic environment ● Project management skills ● Team player ● Effective communicator ● Ability, and willingness to work in rural settings when required ● Must willingly exhibit all the core values of the Barry Callebaut group – Integrity, Customer focus, Passion, Entrepreneurship, and Team Spirit ● Ability to lead and be able to plan, coordinate and monitor in order to achieve results ● Ability to explain complex reporting processes to end users with strong coaching and training skills JOB PROFILE – JOB BRIEF Barry Callebaut Talent Acquisition 3 ● Strong listening, analytical skills and solution minded At Barry Callebaut, we are committed to Diversity & Inclusion.
