About the role
Our hosting team, composed of 8 internals and a pool of external workforce, is part of the Infrastructure and Workplace department and focuses on delivery core hosting services within the overall Digital Technology team.
As the Local Hosting Service Owner, you will work on datacenter for Worldwide on premise infrastructure services to support server, database and storage - based services. You will get the opportunity to contribute and to have a positive impact on providing core infrastructure services to Solvay’s application landscape.
You will be accountable for:
Proposing and supporting the transformation of the local hosting activities (Transform)
Ensuring business continuity and leading operation for your perimeter from an end to end perspective (Operate)
Contributing to the development of new skills and talent for (People)
We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode.
About you
Relevant education degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering or in another related technical field
Relevant work experience in managing large infrastructures (data center, platform, storage, network, virtualization) for minimum of 5 years
Competencies:
Experience in IT service management (monitoring, KPIs, reporting, ITIL best practices)
Experience in cybersecurity, risk and compliance, audit management (ISO 27001, ISO 9001…)
Experience in people and project management.
Technical writing skills (English) to maintain and develop standards and procedures
Managing people : you implement effective people management practices.
Communication: you are able to foster efficient communication with diverse stakeholders
Analytical thinking: you analyze information and are able to identify relationships.

About the pay and benefits
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country (Portugal) base pay reasonably expected for this role is 37,520 EUR to 56,100 EUR, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
