WEXMAC 2.0 – Lodging Support in Laem Chabang, Thailand
Scope of Work– Local Liaison Officer
The Consultant will liaise with stakeholders including the 4-star hotel lodging services provider, the U.S. Navy crew, Palladium’s Contingency Operations team, and additional relevant parties which may later be identified. The objective of the Local Liaison Officer is to coordinate between the 4-star hotel lodging, U.S. Navy crew members, and Palladium’s team.
A high degree of communication, project management, problem solving, adaptability, attention to detail, teamwork, and turnaround under strict deadlines are required. The Consultant shall comply with any instructions regarding Palladium team and client-driven viewpoints.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Build relationships with internal Palladium and external stakeholders.
Support Palladium’s understanding of operational risks, the security situation, and ethnic and cultural considerations in Thailand.
Prioritize conflicting needs, handle matters expeditiously, proactively and follow-through on activities to intended successful completion. Track, maintain, and keep all necessary documents, records, and reference materials. Support any follow-up as needed.
Additional tasks or revision of tasks may be made through written agreement (email exchange) by both parties.
Required Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, adhere to tight deadlines, and respond with flexibility.Knowledge of Department of Defense requirements.
Ability to work individually and in a team.
Ability to use English and Thai as working languages.
Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision.
Highly self-motivated and quick to response to rapidly changing demands.
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
Strong interpersonal skills, including in a cross-cultural context.
Thai nationals with experience working in various countries, especially in Southeast Asia are strongly encouraged to apply.
