Your role and responsibilitiesWe are looking for a Local Sales Manager to join our Motion Division team in Latvia.In this role, you'll have a great opportunity to lead and grow sales in the local market. Your focus will be on developing and executing a sales strategy to strengthen ABB's market position and drive growth. Setting and achieving sales targets for products, systems, and services will be key to ensuring business growth and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will oversee sales performance, address challenges, and support your team of sales professionals to deliver strong results.The work model for the role is: hybrid #LIhybridYou will be mainly accountable for:• Defining key sales targets and establishing metrics to monitor performance.• Building and leading a high-performing sales team.• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with existing and potential customers.• Managing key contract negotiations and ensuring pricing aligns with market expectations.• Overseeing customer satisfaction efforts, including surveys and follow-up actions.
Qualifications for the roleProven experience in sales leadership, with a track record of achieving targets.Strong knowledge of sales processes, tools, and business development strategies.Ability to build and manage relationships with key stakeholders and customers.Skills in contract negotiation, risk management, and financial performance monitoring.Proficiency in Latvian and English.
