Job Summary
The Local Service Transition and Client Training Consultant is responsible for overseeing the transition of services from implementation to operations and delivering effective training to clients. This role ensures projects are completed within the defined scope, quality, time, and budget while ensuring clients are well-trained and operationally ready.
Key Responsibilities
Service Transition:Lead local workshops to ensure clients understand the scope of services, delivery models, and system landscapes.Help clients understand the implementation methodology, including phases and deliverables.Onboard the BAU operational team into the project.Prepare the Payroll Calendar and Trusted Source List.Provide necessary accesses to clients and Operations team members.Implement local service delivery tools (case management tool, call center, SLA reporting tool, etc.).Coordinate and lead testing phases to ensure systems are working and integrated as expected.Direct and plan work, objectives, and resource models for transition to Operations activities.Identify and communicate project risks.Monitor the delivery of the transition within the agreed scope, quality, time, and budget.Prepare for the hypercare period.Ensure a successful transition from Project to BAU services for clients and Operations teams.Client Training:Conduct high-quality training sessions, both online and in-person.Design and maintain training materials, ensuring they are up-to-date and meet company standards.Participate in meetings to clarify training scope and report progress.Engage in continuous learning and development to improve training materials and client experience.Foster a professional atmosphere and enforce business etiquette.Collaborate with subject matter experts and colleagues to understand tools and deliver effective training.Engage in various projects and activities as needed.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience
HR and Payroll Services: Experience in HR and payroll services delivery/operations.Coordination: Experience in coordinating between different stakeholders.Communication: Strong communication skills with previous customer-facing experience.Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.Organization: Highly organized with the ability to oversee large and multiple projects.PC Literacy: Proficiency in Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.Travel: Willingness to travel locally and internationally.Operational Collaboration: Experience working closely with operational teams.Workshop Management: Ability to manage process/service workshops with multiple customer contacts.Service Testing: Experience in service testing, including System Integration Test, Scenario Based Test, Service Rehearsal, and Parallel Runs.Knowledge Transfer: Handling knowledge transfer and service transitions.Customer Service Training: Solid experience required.Creativity and Open-mindedness: Essential for embracing new challenges.Presentation Skills: Very good presentation skills required.Interest in Technology: Keen interest in new technologies and solutions.This combined role is crucial for ensuring a smooth transition from project implementation to operational services and ensuring clients are well-trained and ready for successful project phases.
