Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it.DescriptionDescriptionThe Globalisation Enablement team within the AppleCare Digital Markets organisation has a shared goal of delivering products and experiences across international markets that help our customers love their products. Collaborating with our many partners early, our team can provide insights and optimize for efficient, scalable production. This results in an overarching strategy where global market nuances are anticipated and addressed early. The team has an opportunity for a fixed term Localisation Project Manager role to assist our Production team. The Localisation Project Manager (LPM)’s responsibilities in this team include kicking off projects and tracking their progress, communicating updates, working closely with partners, following up on action items, and assigning work to our translation vendors. The LPM will work closely with Apple stakeholder teams and vendor partners to help complete localisation requests. Minimum QualificationsMinimum Qualifications- Being a close partner to our in-geo stakeholders supporting them with their localization needs. Receiving and understanding localization requests from internal partners, being able to advice on best localization practice.- Coordinating the full cycle of a project from analyzing source files, to creating projects in WorldServer, managing queries, supervising deadlines and checking final deliveries- Being involved in finances by requesting quotes from vendors, acquiring approval and keeping track of cost- Fostering positive relationships with internal partners & vendorsKey QualificationsKey QualificationsPreferred QualificationsPreferred QualificationsA high-level working knowledge of the localisation process or familiarity with globalisation/internationalisation.Up to date with industry standards and current trends with a deep understanding of the latest localisation technology.Experience as a Localisation Project Manager either with a Language Service Provider or client-side.Education & ExperienceEducation & ExperienceAdditional RequirementsAdditional RequirementsMore
