What You Will Be Doing

ChargePoint is looking for a detail-oriented individual who is well-versed in localisation best practices with a focus on quality translations. This person will be responsible for critical go-to-market priorities and collaborating with the localisation manager and vendors to ensure the translation of our products meets quality standards. You will be the main point of contact between EU and NA internal business partners, and the localisation manager. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, work well with people from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures, build relationships with vendors and co-workers, work independently and as part of a team, take active measures to solve problems and commit to a high level of service.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint Under the direction of the localisation manager and partnerships with vendors, drive efficient localisation processes, ensure cost-effective solutions, and assure quality for localisation projects. Serve as the main point of contact for projects in process and queries from linguists. Work as part of the technical content development team to support various elements of the localization workflow from project request through completion. Liaison between EU and NA internal business partners, localisation manager, and vendors to ensure translations meet required deadlines and quality standards. Maintain the term base in collaboration with Marketing, Product Management, HW/SW Engineering, and other stakeholders and vendors. Resolve day-to-day questions or conflicts related to source file discrepancies, terminology, glossaries, style guides, and translation memory. Establish and maintain excellent relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors. Perform checks at various stages of the translation process to ensure quality and accuracy. Mitigate and resolve linguistic questions and translation issues with vendor and cross-functional teams in different locations and time zones. Identify and assess opportunities to optimize existing processes, reduce costs, and improve quality. Requirements 3-6 years of experience coordinating localisation projects with a focus on ensuring quality and consistency. Professional level written/verbal English communication skills and fluency in at least one other language required; fluency in multiple languages such as Dutch, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Swedish, Norwegian, and/or Danish preferred. Experience in translation management best practices and tools; Crowdin TMS preferred. Experience localizing content in various AMS, CMS, LMS, and DTP tools Experience with localization platforms, file formats, and CAT tools that manage and automate the translation workflow. Able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proven organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and work well in an environment with competing demands. Teamwork skills are a must along with the ability to grasp new technologies; Proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Familiarity with authoring tools such as MadCap Flare, MadCap Central, and Articulate 360 is a plus.   Location
