MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To provide coordination services related to quality, patient safety, accreditation and related regulatory compliance and risk management 

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

Drive quality initiatives, audits, and risk management in collaboration with the Quality and Patient Safety Officer

Assist in managing clinical and non-clinical audits including creating of audit tools, data analysis and reports production

Manage the Incident/ Near Miss Reporting System including analysing and managing event reports from clinical and non-clinical areas

Assist in investigations of significant adverse events and Root Cause Analyses for sentinel and serious adverse events

Implement and monitor compliance to organisational policies that improve both patient and employee care and safety

Implement quality and risk management educational programs as per hospital policy

Support the preparation for JCI audits

REQUIRED EDUCATION

A relevant Bachelor's Degree in quality management or healthcare

Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) will be an advantage

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

At least 2 years' experience in developing clinical and non-clinical quality management plans and related projects

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Facilitation skills Audit compliance procedures, guidelines and related requirements Data analysis and reporting Database management (MS Excel) JCI accreditation standards
