Details: + Setting: Level III Trauma Center in Newburgh, NY (1.5 hours north of central NYC) + facility services Hudson Valley area and also has a large Cancer Center + 31 ED beds; 8 Fast Track + ED patients per hour: 2 + 24/7 Physician and APP coverage + Other staff: IM residents, PA students, 24/7 CIM coverage, scribe coverage + Credential within 60-90 days (start in March/April and work through rest of 2025) + Minimum 6 shifts per month required + Hours: Must be willing to work weekends and be flexible to all shift times (7a-5p or 7a-7p, 10:30a-9:30p, 3p-11:30p, 9p-7a) Required: + Must have NY license + Will accept board certified/eligible + Must be EM residency trained + Must have ACLS, BLS, PALS, ATLS regardless of board status Benefits: + Receive a weekly paycheck - negotiable pay + Travel/lodging covered + 100% of malpractice insurance covered
