Lodging Lead
**Purpose and Scope:** Provide leadership to a diverse lodging operations team for providing reservations, check in, check out, inspections, inventory, restocking, safety inspections, general upkeep, and other related tasks to manage on-station lodging and quarters for authorized customers, including Government personnel and other Contractor personnel. This position is in support of the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program (AFCAP) and is located at Ascension Island Auxiliary Airfield (AAAF). **Essential Responsibilities:** + Oversee lodging employees. + Perform lodging tasks to include daily accountability and reporting of all bed spaces, management of permanent and transient bed spaces, lodging front desk operations, and registration/tracking using the Contingency Quarters Management and Accountability Program (CQMAP). + Follow procedures for the control, issuing, and inventory of guest room and master keys both physical and electronic. + Maintain a friendly demeanor when interacting with guests, co-workers, and property employees. + Ensure that the work area is safe, clean and sanitary always. + Report lost and found items to internal Supervisor. **Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in supervising and managing DoD lodging or four (4) years of comparable commercial experience. + Ability to read and write English is required. + Solid communications skills, strong interpersonal skills. + Strong ability to work and lead as a member of a diverse, dynamic team. + Outstanding problem-solving skills and sound judgment. + Candidate should be other country national (OCN) or local national (LN). + Possess a valid passport from their country have ability to obtain a work visa. + Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of deployment. **Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:** + Able to stand for long periods of time such as eight (8) to ten (10) hours, bend, kneel, and reach to store/retrieve supplies. + Able to lift, carry, and push supplies and boxes up to 50 pounds. + Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable. + Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions. + Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions. + Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
