Weyerhaeuser’s log yard facility in Cottageville, South Carolina has an opening for an Equipment Operator. This position will serve as a member of the flow-to-work log yard team, operating various pieces of log handling equipment, participating in various log yard activities, and contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.

This is a full-time hourly day shift position reporting to the Yard Supervisor. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k plans, vacation, and holidays.

Key Functions:

Safely and competently operate all the equipment associated with a log yard; knuckle boom, front end loader, yard truck, ag tractors, etc.Perform basic equipment and facility maintenanceRecognize log sorts and place them in the appropriate inventory storageCollaborate with team members, as well as work independentlyContribute positively within a highly efficient and safe work teamAdapt to job assignment changes and flow to work as neededPerform overtime duties when needed to meet customer demands
