Job Description
On a day-to-day basis, you will be acting as a Remote Gate Agent supporting thousands of drivers across the country using two-way audio/video communication to verify and identify any necessary specifications on trucks and processes. You will coordinate, communicate, and provide updates daily to all parties involved in the arrival, loading, unloading, and departure at warehouses, facilities, and distribution centers. We are looking for candidates who are extremely detail-oriented, can work in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency, and are quick learners and technically savvy. This team manages all gate operations, allowing onsite associates to focus on daily operations. Daily interactions with approximately 200 drivers require excellent and clear communication skills.
ResponsibilitiesAct as a Remote Gate Agent supporting drivers across the country.Use two-way audio/video communication to verify and identify truck specifications and processes.Coordinate and communicate updates daily to all parties involved in warehouse, facility, and distribution center operations.Manage all gate operations to allow onsite associates to focus on their daily tasks.Communicate clearly and effectively with approximately 200 drivers daily.Essential SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office.Excellent phone etiquette.Strong customer service skills.Great attitude and aptitude.Technical savviness.Experience in logistics, intermodal, supply chain, and call centers.Excellent communication and people skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications1+ year of high volume (call center) customer support experience.Strong retail customer service experience from companies such as SBUX or the restaurant industry.Strong job tenure required.Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and strong problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and keyboard shortcuts.Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously.Quick learner able to work in a fast-paced environment.Work Environment
This is an on-site position, working 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm post-training. The training schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm for 3 weeks. Mandatory overtime is expected during peak seasons (June - July & October - January), which includes a 6th workday and 10-hour workdays.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
