Job Summary

Leads a subset of activities for logistics professionals within a region. Provides leadership to define, implement, and optimize the logistics， Import & Export strategies and objectives in support of business strategies and objectives.

How you will contribute and lead:
• Manage local Logistics, Import & export teams when applicable
• Work closely with sales and finance to support regional business initiatives.
• Manage regional 3rd party supplier transportation, warehousing, customs, and freight forwarder.
• Maintain continuous interface with 3PL / 4PL to ensure efficient operations (global SOP’s) and resolution of problems and cost effective execution
• Lead weekly/monthly meetings/conference calls with Regional staff, sales, finance, Trax and external controllers (e.g. PWC as appropriate)
• Participate in weekly/monthly meetings/conference calls with Regional staff, sales, finance, Trax and external controllers (e.g. PWC as appropriate)
• Participate in regional customer visits (as appropriate)
• Review and analyze systems and invoicing to ensure accurate costs and financials (including ISO requirements).
• Manage implementation of preventive action for internal/external complaints.
• Work on continuous improvement as directed by the Sr Logistics Manager
• Monitor agreements, documentation, and standard operating procedures.

What you will need to be successful:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or International Trade
• 1 - 3 year experience with Logistics related work emphasis on Transportation, warehousing, inventory management systems, dangerous goods handling: Import & Export experience
• Excellent business English and local language communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and automated systems
• Travel less than 20%.
