We are currently recruiting four (4) Logistics Planners, each specializing in one of the following disciplines:
Fluids and Chemical TransportRoad Transport and Lifting & HoistingIndustrial Cleaning and Waste ManagementLogistics Projects and JobsPlanners should also have a working knowledge of the other disciplines to provide coverage during consignment duty or leave.
What you’ll be doing
As a Logistics Planner, you will ensure that safety, environmental, cost, and performance standards are consistently met. Your focus will be on continuously improving safety, environmental efficiency, and delivery performance.
Task and deliverables:
Receive all logistics requests from various requestors and translate them into orders using the SLING, NAM logistics system to approved logistics contractorsDefine and agree the appropriate equipment for executing tasks and ensuring timely, efficient removal of waste streams in cooperation with the requestorsDefine and agree on the necessary means of transport, use of lifting and hoisting equipment/cranes, industrial cleaning services, fluid transport, waste management and logistics projects/jobsCreate optimal planning for the replenishment of production chemicalsRegularly align with Supply Chain Inventory on the availability of production chemicals in stockInform and coordinate with contract holders on Supply chain issuesEnsure proper disposal of liquids under correct UN name and labellingConsult with Logistics Field Supervisor in case of non-routine workEnsure timely availability of waste stream number (‘Afvalstroomnummers’)Select treatment facility based on waste stream analysisCoordinate and issue small tenders to approved vendors for minor activitiesEnsure availability of legally required transport and waste documentation, provided with all necessary dataMonitor and reduce container rental timeVerify completion of tasksEnsure the timely processing of contractor proof of delivery within the logistics planning systemCoordinate larger logistics activities and well services projects including Logistics and waste management planRotate with other planners for consignment duties 24/7, 1 week per monthPrincipal accountabilities:
Include required order dates and expected costs in SLINGEnsure adequate data is obtained to select the most effective and efficient logistic solutionEnsure all required data is available to create optimal Chemical supply roundInform service requestor on expected costs and discuss possible cost reductionsReduce costs through optimized utilization of resourcesAlign delivery of services with other logistics services requiredGain insight in NAM activities and liaise with internal customers and contractors to ensure availability of resourcesEnsure logistic activities do not have a negative impact on health, budget and environmentAct as expert for logistic activities IC-Waste-LH-(fluids)Transport towards the assetPlan and carry-out financial spot-checks on delivered services by contractorAble to temporarily act as planner for other logistics disciplines (Industrial Cleaning, Waste, Road, Fluids, Lifting and Hoisting)Key Challenges
Obtain full data to enable selection of efficient resources and create optimum planningManage demand to optimize maximum utilization of resourcesManage the planning and execution of logistics projects/jobsEnsure availability of necessary transport documentation and labelling of containersAdequately react on requests for 24/7 (Fluids)transportDimensions:
Worksites: NAM production and treatment installations and abandonment locationsWorksites: More than 150 locationsActivities: Arranging all fluids transport (Natural Water Gas Condensate, Well fluids and polluted fluid waste streams) and Road Transport and lifting & hoisting equipment (cranes) and Industrial Cleaning Projects and equipment to site and Removal and Treatment of all routine and non-routine waste streamsActivities: Arranging logistics supply, mixing, storage and handling of production chemicals at logistics contractors to enable improved production at NAM locations and Administration for all activities going through the logistics planning cellInternal Interfaces:Main service users: Operations; Engineering & Maintenance; Well engineering and projects in NAM and external parties.Other relevant interfaces: Contract holders in different business work-streams; Logistics Disciplines (marine, air & road-transport; waste; supply) and supervisors; HSSE; Civil.External Interfaces: IC Contractors; Waste Management Contractors, Logistics Contractors; Loading & Unloading & disposal sites (incl. 3rd party)Working at least 3 days from the office and able to work from home or location is possibleWhat you bring
Proven logistics/ supply chain knowledge in planning and/ or operational knowledge in road transport, liquid transport and transport documentsProven knowledge of Dangerous Goods regulations. ADR by driver base certificate or Dangerous goods safety advisor trainingWilling to work in consignment duties 24/7, on call 1 week per monthGood team player, willing to embrace and drive change through agile approachAbility to work under pressure, effectively manage setbacks and maintain a 'can-do' attitudeAnalytical mindset with prime focus on delivering practical or pragmatic solutionsGood verbal and written communication skills. Preferably proficient in Dutch languageNice to haves:
