Logistic Sr Manager

As a Logistic Brazil Leader your main responsibility is to oversee the efficient and effective operations of the Brazil distribution. Your role is critical in ensuring that inventory is managed properly, orders are fulfilled promptly, and the warehouse operates in a safe and organized manner.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse Safety: Implement and enforce safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse staff.Strategic Planning: Develop and implement warehouse strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize operational efficiency and improve overall performance.Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control processes, including receiving, storage, and shipment to ensure accurate and timely inventory levels.Order Fulfillment: Ensure timely and accurate order processing and shipment, meeting customer requirements and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.Cost Management: Monitor and control warehouse expenses, finding cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality and efficiency.Staff Management: Lead, mentor, and train warehouse staff, ensuring proper staffing levels and skill development within the team.Performance Metrics: Analyze warehouse performance metrics and KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to optimize productivity.Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure that products are handled, stored, and shipped in accordance with company standards and industry regulations.Equipment and Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and functionality of warehouse equipment and machinery to ensure smooth operations.Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination of operations.

 Key Tasks:

Plan and organize daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment.Conduct regular inspections to maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with regulations.Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to manage stock replenishment.Develop and implement employee training programs to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce errors.Oversee the implementation and utilization of warehouse management systems (WMS).Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, identifying areas for improvement.Evaluate and select third-party logistics providers and negotiate contracts when necessary.Develop and manage budgets for warehouse operations and capital expenditures.Investigate and resolve any issues related to inventory discrepancies, shipping errors, or warehouse inefficiencies.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to implement innovative warehouse management techniques.

A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or a related field is typically required.Proven experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a similar field.Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role is essential.Certifications (optional, but beneficial):Certification in supply chain management or warehouse management (e.g., Certified Supply Chain Professional - CSCP, Certified Professional in Supply Management - CPSM, or similar).Proven leadership skillsExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work across all functions. A strong team player who is able to build solid, effective working relationships with others.Able to generate solutions/recommendations to issues before topic is presented to management; prudent risk takerLatin America or international experience is a plusEffective written and verbal communication in English and Spanish are mandatoryResult driven – drives for action, for trying new things and for getting things doneHighly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, knowledge of Hyperion HFM and SAP or their equivalent.Previous management experienceExperience with process improvements and optimizationExceptional ability to combine strong analytical skills with business knowledgeAbility to be proactive & independent in a dynamic environment.
