We are now looking for a Logistic Support Engineer to join our driven Navy Navigation team, working for a better future. The preferred location for the position is in Drammen, Norway. We offer the possibility of hybrid work.
What you will be doing
As Logistic Support Engineer, you are committed to administrating project specific material data and delivery requirements. This also includes engagement in the purchase, logistics in relation to shipment, and Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) related engineering and documentation activities. You add value by planning the work and balancing stakeholders' interests, facilitating getting the deliverables done in close cooperation with the program and project manager(s).

For you to succeed in the position, we hope you have good planning and target-setting skills and a strong business and customer focus. You are an action-oriented team player that is committed to developing yourself and others.
As a Logistic Support Engineer, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
Daily monitoring of project-related demands for material. Supply Support Planning in close cooperation with Sourcing and Obsolescence Management Assist the purchase organization in the sourcing of products and services, which includes also technical advice together with the project manager/engineer. Regular monitoring of goods receipt and proactive actions on cashing delayed / lacking materials Create picking lists for stock in due time before internal requirements (e.g. set-up for test or shipments to be made) Participate in engineering tasks such as documentation, as well as in equipment deliveries and services. Facilitate technical solutions, including support for ILS documentation. Participating in internal project status and milestone reviews. Quality assurance of incoming goods, deliveries, and documentation. Assist other team members as required and promptly resolve Quality/Design issues. Support stakeholder management, of external and internal stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
Diploma/ BSc. in a relevant specialization, e.g. mechanical, electrical or electronic engineering. A few years of relevant working experience. Ability to obtain security clearance according to Norwegian National Security Authority regulations. General Cyber security knowledge. Fluent in English (communicate effectively in writing and verbally), preferably also fluent in the Norwegian language. Good interpersonal skills, teamwork, and organizational skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
