Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive logistics plans to support the deployment, maintenance, and modernization of naval communication systems. Maintain accurate records of system configurations to ensure consistency and supportability throughout the system's lifecycle. Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to provide tiered support, addressing and resolving issues that arise during system deployment and operation. Create and conduct training programs for personnel to ensure proficient operation and maintenance of TacNet systems. Oversee the procurement, distribution, and inventory of necessary materials and equipment to support system readiness and sustainability. Plan and manage logistics projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget constraints. Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant regulations and standards and maintain thorough documentation for auditing and reporting purposes.Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree Experience: Three (3) years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems, including logistics principles, practices, and processes. Experience shall include at least one (1) years of support with C4ISR or similar systems, including: Analyzing Engineering/Systems Management Data, and Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures. Experience may be achieved simultaneously. Experience using government database software CMPro (Configuration Management Professional) is required. Specific Experience: The individual shall have Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Foundational/Level 1; demonstrate/specify equivalent life cycle logistics training; or possess an additional one (1) year (i.e., total 4 years minimum experience) working in direct support of defense life-cycle logistics.
