Responsibilities What you'll Do: Provide support to the Fleet Readiness Center East CH-53 Logistics Team. Support will be provided by analyzing and coordinating the ongoing logistical functions of the aircraft logistical functions. Responsible for the entire life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources. Performs various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of aircraft weapon systems supportability or maintainability program Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update CH-53 aircraft maintenance/repair information in an online Microsoft database website. Track the status of aircraft undergoing Depot Level Maintenance in the three Fleet Readiness Centers and input the results into the online IMP Tool Database for historical data and trend analysis. Retrieve maintenance information from online databases (I.e., Production Status Reporting (PSR) and Decision Knowledge Programming for Logistics Analysis and Technical Evaluation (DECKPLATE) websites) and Naval messages detailing the inspection/repair facilities, the type of aircraft inspection/repair, induction and completion dates, total aircraft Turn Around Time (TAT) and total costs for inspection/repair and input the required information to online websites. Extract aircraft information from an online website and transfer it to the appropriate (Microsoft Excel) spreadsheet for weekly distribution to NAVAIR. Extract CH-53 aircraft status, reporting custodian, and flight hour data from the DECKPLATE website. Input any reporting custodian changes and necessary flight hour information into the online IMP Tool database website. Develop PowerPoint slides with charts, graphs, and production comments and submitted to the NAVAIR distribution list. Qualifications Education / Certifications: BS or BA degree Allowable Substitutions: (In addition to the one (1) year of experience in aircraft life-cycle (acquisition or sustaining) logistics Associate degree plus an additional four (4) years of aircraft acquisition logistics, supply support, or maintenance work experience that meets the experience requirements for a Junior Logistician. High School Diploma/GED plus an additional six (6) years of aircraft acquisition logistics, supply support, or maintenance work experience that meets the experience requirements for a Junior Logistician. Required Experience: At least one (1) year of experience in aircraft life-cycle (acquisition or sustaining) logistics. Experience: Experienced in communicating with customers, employees, and corporate staff. Experienced in the daily use of computers and computer software programs such as, but not limited to, Microsoft (MS) Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, MS Outlook, and Adobe. Skills & Technology Used: Knowledge of Aviation Logistics, Supply Support or Maintenance best practices. Knowledge of MS Access is preferred. Self-Starter. Dependability Attention to detail. Problem Solving. Organizational Skills. Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Adaptability.
