Logistician III (3175)

GVI, Inc, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking an experienced Logistician III with experience in directing the integrated logistics process, developing support policies, procedures and systems. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Update and maintain documentation for provisioning, replenishment, and supply support items (i.e., spares and repair parts, Maintenance Assistance Modules (MAM) and tools). Review for accuracy and compliance, provide comments and recommend corrections or improvements, to the acquisition timeline, inventory levels, receipt, cataloging and storing criteria, and transfer and disposal specifications of supply support items. Develop and deliver Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) and Supplemental Provisioning Technical Documentation (SPTD). Review existing supply support documentation, provided as GFI, and recommend changes to supply support coding (Acquisition Method Coding (AMC); Acquisition Method Suffix Code (AMSC); Source, Maintenance and Recoverability (SM&R) Codes; Mission Essentiality Codes (MECs); Mission Criticality Codes (MCC); and Control Inventory Item Codes (CIIC)). Physically receive, inspect (to include identify and sort), and ensure receipt documents properly identify material, material condition, quantity and document and report any shipment irregularities. Catalog, store, transfer, issue, redistribute, recommend disposal, and ensure total asset visibility and accountability of all material transactions. Generate available ERP LX02 inventory reports from ERP to monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment quantities. Generate Material Transfer Requests (MTR) for material deliveries and shipments. Monitor Pre-Expended Bin (PEB) inventory levels, demand frequency, and recommend replenishment quantities. Upon receipt of non-compliant and associated documentation from the technical community, enter the data into the Product Data Reporting and Evaluation Program (PDREP) Reporting System in the following four modules: Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDRs), Supply Deficiency Reports (SDRs), Material Inspection Reports (MIRs), and Contract Award and Delivery (CAD)). Research available IPS supply support data sources and provide recommendations and justification for changes to PTD resulting from Allowance Change Requests (ACRs), Fleet Coordinated Shipboard Allowance List (COSAL) Feedback Reports (FCFBR), and other Fleet generated supply issues.

Education and Experience:

US Citizen Ability to pass a pre-employment background check SECRET (interim or final) security clearance Bachelor’s Degree Typical Experience 7 years professional experience in integrated logistics support. Experience integrating the spectrum of the logistics processes within the operational, acquisition and wholesale environments. Experience directing the integrated logistics process, developing support policies, procedures and systems, and providing implementation guidance. Experience preparing and implementing directives to ensure effective logistics support, and establishing and enforcing standards to ensure that the assigned work force is properly trained and equipped. Developing, initiating, integrating and managing all logistics actions associated with life cycle management of weapon systems, subsystems and equipment.
