We are seeking an experienced Logistician III to support the logistical functions at Buckley Space Force Station. The candidate will be responsible for managing the entire life cycle of products, from acquisition through disposal, and ensuring the efficient flow of resources. This position involves overseeing procurement, distribution, asset management, and supply chain risk mitigation for mission-critical operations.\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nAnalyze and coordinate the ongoing logistical functions within the organization, ensuring seamless support of operations.\nManage the entire life cycle of products, including acquisition, internal allocation, distribution, delivery, and disposal.\nIntegrate asset management systems with procurement systems, ensuring effective tracking and control of resources.\nConduct discovery and transition of existing asset data from across the enterprise to maintain accurate inventory records.\nMap and monitor the supply chain, identifying potential threats and implementing mitigation strategies.\nDevelop and maintain supply chain risk management plans and processes to safeguard mission-critical assets.\nOversee the usage and lifecycle of hardware and software assets from procurement through deployment and decommissioning.\nEnsure that assets are controlled and accounted for during transportation and warehousing in compliance with relevant regulations.\nLead cyclic and out-of-cycle inventories of all assets, ensuring accuracy and accountability.\nCreate and maintain asset management playbooks, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline operations.\nEnsure all asset management processes align with regulatory and organizational requirements.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nBachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered).\nMinimum of 6-10 years of experience in logistics or asset management, preferably in a defense or aerospace environment.\nStrong understanding of asset management systems, procurement processes, and supply chain risk management.\nExperience in integrating asset management with procurement systems and managing full product life cycles.\nAbility to analyze and resolve complex logistical challenges, develop risk management plans, and manage large-scale inventories.\nExcellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.\nActive Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nExperience with DoD logistics and asset management standards.\nCertifications in Supply Chain Management or Logistics (e.g., Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)).\nFamiliarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.\n\n
