Logistician III- Maintenance Planning (3198)

GVI, Inc, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking an experienced Logistician III with experience in Maintenance Planning.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Catalog, track, and analyze Preventative Maintenance System (PMS) documentation (Maintenance Index Pages (MIPs) and Maintenance Requirements Cards (MRCs)).

·       Formulate and provide recommendations for improvement to the PMS for Government review and approval.

·       Prepare and submit Technical Feedback Reports (TFBR) to correct or update PMS.

·       Review all TFBRs received from outside activities (Fleet, Maintenance Activities, etc.) and make recommendations to the Government to accept or reject.

·       Track all TFBRs to ensure recommended changes are distributed to the Fleet via the PMS Force Revision Change Documents (CDs).

·       Review and identify recommendations for improvements to Maintenance Planning documentation to include Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), Level of Repair (LOR), Maintenance Plans and other maintenance documentation prepared by the manufacturer for the Acquisition Engineering Agent (AEA). Documentation shall include estimated repair times, testability requirements, support equipment, manpower skills, and facilities required.

Education and Experience:

US Citizen Ability to pass a pre-employment background check SECRET (interim or final) security clearance Bachelor’s Degree 7 years professional experience in integrated logistics support. Experience integrating the spectrum of the logistics processes within the operational, acquisition and wholesale environments. Experience directing the integrated logistics process, developing support policies, procedures and systems, and providing implementation guidance. Experience preparing and implementing directives to ensure effective logistics support, and establishing and enforcing standards to ensure that the assigned work force is properly trained and equipped. Developing, initiating, integrating and managing all logistics actions associated with life cycle management of weapon systems, subsystems and equipment.
