Join a dynamic team within the Transportation Operations unit, where you will play a pivotal role in managing logistics and freight movements across North American fulfillment centers. This opportunity offers growth potential in a rapidly expanding sector.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain ongoing, tactical communication and account management with external customers, including carriers and vendors.Extract and analyze data from multiple databases using tools such as Excel, Access, and SQL for ad hoc reporting.Review and analyze data related to appointment and arrival times to make informed business decisions and process improvements.Compose narratives summarizing weekly findings and variances to goals, and present them in review forums.Work under various time constraints to meet critical business needs while tracking and assessing activities performed.Lead initiatives to re-engineer business processes, identifying and eliminating root causes of defects to enhance efficiency.Systematically escalate problems or discrepancies in information to relevant teams and ensure resolution delivery.Develop performance metrics to support and drive business results.Define business and functional requirements for technology teams to enhance software systems and tools.Interpret business impact from data trends and make sound decisions based on available information.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.Experience in inventory management, freight, dispatch, and third-party logistics.Strong skills in data management and analysis, especially using Excel and SQL.Experience in customer service and vendor management.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in logistics or transportation is preferred.Experience in manufacturing, transportation, customer service, and/or distribution environments.Demonstrated experience using data for root cause analysis and process improvement.Self-motivated with a passion for data and trend analysis.Work Environment
This position is 100% on-site with varied shifts available. After training, shifts may include: Front Half (Sunday through Wednesday, 8am to 6:30pm), Back Half (Wednesday through Saturday, 8am to 6:30pm), Donut (Monday/Tuesday and Thursday/Friday, 8am to 6:30pm), or Monday through Friday (8am to 5pm). During peak season (October to December), overtime of 10-20 hours per week may be required based on business needs. Flexibility to work on holidays during peak season is expected.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
