Logistics Administrator

We currently have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, customer focused Logistics Administrator to join our team, on site in Erskine, Monday to Friday 9-5. If you have the relevant skills to deliver on the job specification below we would love for you to join us!
What you will be doing
Co-ordinate and manage all aspects of the company’s logistics operations.Manage customer expectations and resolving problems/difficulties as and when they arise.Manage and update relevant documentation and records required for clients’ needs.Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.Oversee the transportation of goods including negotiating rates with carriers including non UK domestic shipments.Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels.Prioritise workload to adhere to business timeframesAct as a primary interface for couriers regarding customer escalations and updates by communicating with all parties to ensure an ideal outcome.Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure seamless co-ordination beyween departments.Track and analyse KPIs to identify areas for improvement.Work as part of a smaller team, interacting with various other teams in the business to provide a quick and professional service for all clients.Deliver the training of new procedures and systems.Manage weekly courier invoices across all accounts, being responsible for sending these on for payment each Month.Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to compliance to relevant laws and standards.Recruitment fraud is a scheme in which fictitious job opportunities are offered to job seekers typically through online services, such as false websites, or through unsolicited emails claiming to be from the company.
