Logistics Analyst
Job Title: Logistics Analyst

Overview:

• Data entry of inbound ocean container milestones.

• Ocean container delivery order releases to carriers, transit time reporting and financial reporting.

• Timely and efficient resolution of ocean and drayage demurrage and detention.

• Review port of entry websites and maintain accurate shipping schedules.

• Download Logistics data and create reports in excel.

• Communicate with service providers ocean carriers, trucking companies, and freight forwarders.

• Responds to telephone and e-mail inquiries from internal and external sources regarding other issues related to parts shipments.

• Assist with carrier bill pay, audits, and carrier rate reviews.

Qualifications:

- 1+ Years Import/Export Logistics - Preferably International Shipment Tracking, but Domestic is acceptable

- 1 Years Experience with tracking shipments from manufacturer all the way to the retail sights.

- 1 Years Experience with SAP, Oracle - and or other high level shipment tracking ERP or TMS system

- 1-2 Years experience tracking invoices, bill of ladings, and payment to and from carriers

- Strong Excel Skills - V look ups and Pivot tables

Work Environment

Monday-Friday 830-5

2 days work from home. Wednesdays & Fridays - 3 days in office, first few weeks of training fully in office
