Logistics Analyst

Ecolab has an opening for a Logistics Analyst. Under the direction of logistics leadership, and with accuracy, efficiency, and Ecolab’s best interest a priority, the analyst is accountable for supporting transportation execution activities. This role is accountable for supporting processes relating to freight pay and audit and will act as a first point of contact for freight pay & audit interacting directly with carrier partners.

What You Will Do:

Manage bulk operations, including scheduling and field communication for terminal locations.Communicate with sales and vendors to ensure smooth operations.Lead any rollout or upkeep initiatives at multiple sites for EVD.Set up new customers and tanks and maintain ORTEC master data.Handle IT communication for ORTEC technical issues.Oversee the TLM (Tank Level Monitoring) central ordering process.Own day-to-day operations with a focus on problem-solving and troubleshooting.Manage returns and expedites, including analytical requests and metrics.Communicate internally and externally from a group inbox, including with carriers, cruise, customers, and commercial teams.Work autonomously but escalate issues to the manager as needed.Perform other administrative tasks as needed.


Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent.Strong administrative skills with the ability to handle semi complex assignments.Excellent communication skills for interacting with terminal partners, carriers, AMs/DMs, and team members.Experience with TMS/OIR for rating, scheduling, and routing customer returns.Strong attention to detail.Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel and Outlook).Ability to work in a highly investigative role, requiring significant problem-solving and follow-up.No Immigration Sponsorship available for this opportunity.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.Previous experience in a warehouse, transportation, shipping and receiving related capacity.Previous experience in a customer service position.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.Strong attention to detail, good communication skills and a team player.Work under limited supervision.
