Job Title: Logistics Analyst (Mid)-Supply Chain Ops
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Analyst to manage the day-to-day coordination of the import/export of seed and non-seed chemical specialized research items entering and exiting the US. This role is crucial in ensuring that import and export operations are compliant, efficient, and meet both customer and production demands. Your efforts will directly impact production sites and support foreign manufacturing as well as sales to end customers.
Responsibilities
+ Perform import/export activities in compliance with government regulations, organizational policies, procedures, goals, and objectives with minimal supervision.
+ Expedite the import/export process by liaising with regional coordinators, warehousing/distribution, and plant production planning.
+ Coordinate logistics for import/export shipments via ocean, air, land, and rail, working closely with freight forwarders, brokers, transportation contract managers, and internal stakeholders.
+ Ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant with US and foreign customer requirements.
+ Audit team members' files to maintain audit-ready status and participate in internal or external USCBP/EPA audits.
+ Accurately and timely process all orders for assigned countries and/or product portfolios in a compliant manner.
+ Stay current on all applicable import/export regulations through formal training and self-guided initiatives.
+ Develop, maintain, and train team members and stakeholders on Standard Operating Procedures associated with the assigned portfolio.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally across divisions and internationally to identify and implement best practices and maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
+ Serve as the key contact for foreign partners/customers.
+ Conduct import/export operations process training as required.
+ Handle complex global trade accounts/trade lanes.
+ Maintain a working knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to APHIS, Customs and Border Protection, USDA, and other government agencies.
+ Become a subject matter expert for assigned business units.
+ Understand the product portfolio and production processes.
+ Perform other duties and participate in projects as needed.

+ Knowledgeable in import/export trade compliance, shipping/logistics
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ BA/BS Degree
+ 3 years experience in business, supply chain, international commerce, or related field preferred
+ Experience with agricultural and/or chemical products preferred
Work Environment
This role involves working with various technologies and equipment including ERP and data systems like MS Office Suite, ACE, SAP, GTS, Amber Road, and OneSource. The position may require flexibility to work outside of normal hours when necessary. The environment is fast-paced and requires a high level of accuracy and compliance with government regulations and internal policies.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.00/hr.
