Job Description

GDIT has an opportunity for a Logistics Analyst onsite at Ft. Cavazos, TX. Must have a current and active Secret clearance. Must have GCSS-Army experience.

How the Logistics Analyst will make an impact:

Prepare items for shipment which include duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products to support FSRs in the field that are servicing incident tickets submitted by the end user.Strategically plan and manage logistics movements and warehouse.Direct, optimize and coordinate full order life cycle of equipment supporting AIE system.Keep track of quality, quantity of stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiencyArrange warehouse, catalog goods.Primarily POC for Customer Helpdesk Support.Will update support tickets and monitor email and phone for new tickets requested by customersMay assist with all processes dealing with inventory procedures to include; equipment inventory layout, component list inventories, sub hand receipts and shortage annex procedures and relocation of equipment and materials.Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements      

 

What you'll need to be successful:

AA/AS, 5+ years experienceSecret Clearance RequiredMust have GCSS-Army experience.Helpdesk Ticket handling experience desiredAbility to lift 40lbs, operate a forklift, sit or stand for 8 hours and support working outside in non-airconditioned work areas.
