Ecolab has an opening for a Logistics Analyst– Freight Payment and Audit.  Under the direction of logistics leadership, and with accuracy, efficiency, and Ecolab’s best interest a priority, the analyst is accountable for supporting transportation execution activities. This role is accountable for supporting processes relating to freight pay and audit and will act as a first point of contact for freight pay & audit interacting directly with carrier partners.

What You Will Do:

Lead freight pay and audit for various modes of transportation.Develop carrier partnerships and strategy to ensure 98% on-time payment.Establishes effective internal and external communications.Partner with carriers to manage aging reports to resolve open invoices.Become the subject matter expert and go to resource within this space at Ecolab.Support process improvement by identifying areas of opportunity using root cause analysis.Establish and publish KPIs, metrics and reporting to share progress with stakeholders (carriers, transportation management and executive leadership).Analyzes, validates, manipulates, and interprets complex data from multiple data sets to develop solutions and optimization opportunities.Leads complex initiatives that have multiple interdependencies and cross functional implications.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in progress in Supply Chain, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.1-2 years of previous work experience in supply chain, business adminsitration, finance or shared servicesIntermediate Microsoft Suite skills including advanced skill in Excel.Fluent in English.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of previous work experience in logistics, transportation, or operations.Experience in another Shared Services team.Ability to work well in ambiguous situationsAbility to exercise independent judgment and to work in teamsPrior experience using SAP and TMS applications
