Salary: $112,500 - $163,500
Schedule: 5/8s or 9/80
Relocation Available

Focus: The Logistics Analytical Leader is responsible for optimizing, leveraging, standardizing, and measuring the effectiveness of the Manufacturing Analytical resources (people, technology, and equipment). The Logistics Analytical Leader will also implement and contribute to the overall improvement of the Analytical Work Process. 

Logistics Analytical Leader Essential Functions:

Implement the Analytical Work Process and effective Lab Management Systems across the Freeport Site. Ensure all labs have and are following their instrument reliability strategy.

Review and maintain record of QA logs, equipment maintenance logs, and all reference laboratory specimen problem logs. Investigate complaints and incident reports; recommend and document effective solutions

Responsible for the laboratory coordination of processes and information flow associated with samples originating from field operations and submitted requiring analysis by the laboratory

Benchmark and optimize cost-competitiveness of analytical services to the businesses. Contribute to annual Cost Savings goal by meeting annual target for EBIT/hard dollar savings

Partner with Global LIT and business quality organizations, to define and implement updated versions of LIMS, Chromatography Data Systems (CDS), and appropriate statistical tools. Establish and maintain an analytical resource database for both people and equipment

Build relationships between Manufacturing labs, Business Analytical organizations, and business R&D to facilitate an efficient and value-added process. Maintains and grows lab expertise to support Olin analytical method validations, instrument qualifications, Lab information technology and data management.


Logistics Analytical Leader Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree* in Chemistry or Engineering

5+ years of experience in production/manufacturing with exposure to  analytical or lab responsibilities in the chemical industry

1+ years supervisory experience; production/manufacturing environment preferred

Knowledge of laboratory equipment; SAP experience preferred

Experience in lab operations process management, data integrity assurance, collaboration, lab analytics, and metrics

Strong technical and interpersonal skills along with a high level of initiative and sense of urgency 

Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)  and possess a valid US Driver's license
