Logistics and Supply Operation Center Analyst

The Logistics and Supply Operation Center Analyst reports to the Logistics Manager and is responsible for supervision and execution of logistics services supporting the Philippines. The overall purpose of this position is to ensure that every link in the supply chain is as cost-effective, productive, and efficient as possible. Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule. Oversee department operations and other services are provided in support of the Logistics Department. Responsibilities Major Job Activities: Gather and analyze logistics data to assess each step in the supply chain. Keep tabs on the product flow process from materials acquisition to final delivery. Update databases with logistics data. Develop, evaluate, and revise logistics policies, procedures, and plans. Oversee warehouses to ensure that products are received, stored, and shipped safely and efficiently. Research supply chain issues to identify potential problems and preemptively address them. Stay up to date on the latest innovations in logistics and what competitors are implementing. Address routine and unexpected disruptions in the supply chain to keep products moving. Examine documents, materials, and products, and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy and conformation to standards and specifications. Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and material requirements, and material priorities. Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures. Oversee department operations and other services are provided as required in support of the Logistics Department. Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands. Performs other duties as assigned. Material & Equipment Directly Used: Logistics tracking software (including Maximo and/or Costpoint) Requires intermediate to advanced knowledge and fluency of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel). Strong analytical skills. Working Environment and Physical Activities: The majority of the working conditions will be in an office environment and sedentary in nature. Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions. Subject to both environmental conditions occurring inside and outside. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices. Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies. Qualifications Education: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education if degree is required. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Management required. Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in logistics and warehousing. Related Military experience in Supply and Logistics desired. Functional, comprehensive working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Military supply accountability. Familiarity with logistics tracking software, spreadsheets, word processors and email. Working knowledge of Supply Room operations and inventory management is required. Experience with Maximo® Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) System desirable. Other Requirements: Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC). Must be a U.S. Citizen. Current U.S. Passport with a minimum of 1 year prior to expiration and 3 blank pages. A valid Driver’s License is required for this position in the Philippines. Skills & Technology Used: Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze costs related to manufacturing, labor and materials. Ability to accurately document and record customer / client information.
