1 - First Shift

Are you the type of person who enjoys a fast-paced and diverse work environment? This role will expose you to our dealership network, end customers, and freight vendors. You will also serve our dealer network by coordinating both whole goods and parts freight shipments, analyze data that pertains to our freight costs and working side by side with our production and customer service teams. We’re looking for someone with great attention to detail, a creative thinker, self-starter, and a mind for process improvement.

What You’ll Do

1. Participate in the planning, scheduling and execution of parts and whole goods shipments.

2. Prepare appropriate documentation for each load, including but not limited to, load sheets, bills of loading, and customs clearance documents.

3. Maintain professional working relationships with our freight providers to track, expedite, and manage freight.

4. Provide timely and accurate data through positive communication to internal teams, Vermeer dealers and customers about their shipments.

5. Monitor and direct daily inbound and outbound freight carriers.

6. Communicate on-campus safety expectations to inbound drivers including sign-in processes, visitor badges, traffic and speed rules, and all other applicable safety expectations.

What We’re Looking For

- High school diploma with a minimum two years of experience and/or training in data entry, customer service or logistics; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associate degree preferred.

- Previous experience with domestic and/or international freight preferred.

Work Location

ONSITE: A team member’s day-to-day work is best done on a Vermeer campus. If work content can be occasionally completed at an offsite location, discuss potential arrangements with your manager.
