The Logistics - Capacity Manager is responsible for carrier account management. Hirschbach Solutions believes in high customer service, therefore, the Logistics - Capacity Manager must be willing and able to invest in ensuring the highest level of service is achieved at all time. 

What you will be doing:Effectively manages strong relationships with contract carriersDevelop an organized list of carriers and the type of relationship with themPublish key contact info for dispatchers as well as desired lanes and ratesFocus on continuous new carrier acquisition and develop a plan to contact them regularly to determine relationship level. Develops a cadence for approaching a carrier base when loads become availableCheck with regular carriers that have been booked previouslyBlast email carriers for available equipmentPost available loads on web load boards we subscribe toMake necessary outbound phone calls to secure coverageEffectively communicate performance expectations to carriers for each loadAutomated tracking is required because it's required by our customersParticipates in carrier performance reviewsIdentifies and implements opportunities to increase efficiency and profitability.Work with a "Can't Stop, Won't Stop" approach to ensure our customer's freight gets handled as expected by Hirschbach Solutions. Other duties as assigned including proactively assisting others in achieving the organization's objectives. Talent Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent in education, paired with relevant professional experience. Bachelor's Degree in Transportation/Logistics/Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred. Ability to process information with high levels of accuracy and energyAbility to multi-task and prioritize workload. Computer proficiency and ability to navigate between multiple programs. Demonstrates and "All In to Win" attitude and performances displays self-motivation and a strong desire to learn within an unpredictable and demanding environment.
