Strategic Logistics Management:
Develop & Implement Logistics Strategy: Assist in the development and implementation of the Logistics Management strategy and roadmap.Business Development & Stakeholder Engagement: Actively engage with the business, develop key relationships with stakeholders, and identify cost reduction and improvement opportunities.Supply Chain Risk Assessment: Assess supply chain risks and review future strategies.Cost Estimation & Control: Provide cost estimation for logistics in pre-bid stages and verify contractor invoices.Operations Logistics Management:
Drive Logistics Implementation: Support the Logistics Manager in driving Logistics management implementation across all business and service lines.Ensure Logistics Effectiveness & Efficiency: Focus on delivering bottom-line cost savings and value through efficient logistics operations.Coordinate with Stakeholders: Coordinate with all internal and external stakeholders effectively.Lifting Supervisor Responsibilities:
Planning & Coordination:Develop and implement safe lifting plans and procedures in accordance with relevant standardsConduct pre-lift meetings with all personnel involved to review lifting plans and procedures, identify potential hazards, and address any concerns.Coordinate lifting activities with other site activities to ensure smooth and safe operations.Prepare and submit all necessary lifting documentation, including permits, inspections, and records.Supervision & Monitoring:Supervise all lifting operations, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and approved plans.Monitor the performance of lifting equipment and personnel, ensuring safe and efficient operation.Conduct regular inspections of lifting equipment, including cranes, hoists, slings, and rigging gear.Investigate and report any incidents or near misses related to lifting operations.Risk Assessment & Mitigation:Conduct thorough risk assessments of all planned lifting activities, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.Develop and implement appropriate safety measures to prevent accidents and injuries.Ensure that all personnel involved in lifting operations are properly trained and qualified.Communication & Collaboration:Maintain open and effective communication with all stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, site supervisors, and equipment operators.Collaborate with other departments to ensure safe and efficient project execution.Provide timely updates on the progress of lifting operations.General Management Responsibilities:
The Sr. Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for building the supply chain organizational structure and leading the function. This role will support Logistics Operations includes managing and setting up service providers. This role will also oversee the financial logistics performance and will need to present to HOD Logistics on a regular basis. Collaboration with Operations teams to ensure successful execution and strategy implementation. Critical to success in this role is a professionalized, creative, and strategic vision that creates value for Fugro through the implementation of a best in class Logistics processes that reduces bottom line costs, improve cash flow and top line profit.QHSSE Compliance:
Actively reinforce general and legal compliance regarding quality, health, safety, sustainability, and environment ("QHSSE").To actively encourage and support examples of safe behaviourResponsible for ensuring safety of department personnelResponsible for determination of training needsResponsible for department personnel participating in mock drillsResponsible for filling up of hazard observation card, wherever hazard has been noticed at siteResponsible for reporting an incidentResponsible for safe housekeeping of the DepartmentTo stop any operation that is deemed unsafeResponsible for availability of valid First Aid KitResponsible for availability of valid fire extinguishersAdmin Responsibilities:
General admin responsibilities as and when required by the company.
Skills, Experience, Qualifications & Mandatory Certifications:
3-5 years of experience in lifting operations in logistic field.Any Graduation or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.Mandatory Certifications:Certification as a Lifting Supervisor from a recognized institution.Safety certifications such as IOSH is highly preferable.Knowledge about IS 13367-1 (1992): Safe use of cranes - Code of practice, Part 1: General [MED 14: Cranes, Lifting Chains and Related Equipment]Strong understanding of lifting operations and safety protocols.Excellent leadership and team coordination abilities.Proficiency in using lifting equipment and tools.Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures.Proficiency in English languageWhat we offer
