Managing inventory across the site, interacting daily with production schedulers, logistics partners, production and othersAssisting with SAP transactions and/or troubleshooting when needed.Managing daily truck scheduling, communication and modifications, implementing and supporting the efficient flow of bulk materials by rail and tank truckSupporting outbound dispatching, as well as coordination of bulk shipments from the plant; tracking and providing feedback for improvement with intra-plant movements and SAP accuracy.Creating and modifying logistics standard operating procedures; promoting and executing continuous improvement and ensuring all activities are performed in a safe mannerExecuting packaging procurement activities such as packaging ordering and supplier issue trackingMonitoring and improving the on-time shipment metric for the Cincinnati facility; training and assisting Operations and Security with SAP functions, approving and tracking invoices, scanning and storing site paperworkTracking and processing invoicesSupporting rail shipmentsSupporting and adhering to the principles of the American Chemistry Council's Responsible Care®, EPA and OSHA initiatives

 

If you have...

 

A High school Diploma or Associates Degree preferably in Supply Chain, Transportation or Logistics.Preferably a minimum of 2 years plant, supply chain, or logistics experience and with multi-level business relationships; knowledge of multi-modal carrier and Hazardous Material Transportation preferred.Excellent project management, organizational and analytical skills (spreadsheet and database )Experience in SAP, Microsoft Office software, SAP transport applications a plus.Create your own chemistry with you@BASF
