Job DescriptionEnsuring that all work is done within the District Excellence guidelines and Air Export Air Lateral processArranging pickups and follow up with service providers until check-in of air export shipments in the airport warehouseRate negotiation and arranging of airline bookings for live shipments, coordinating rushes  with other Expeditors officesCreating of House AirwaybillsCreating Export Declarations (B13A) manually or electronically in the CAED system for clients if requestedConsolidating shipments where possible (Workflow monitor to be used) and closing MasterAirwaybills; Creating of Direct Airwaybills; verifying billing and protected costs for service providers are entered correctly – if necessary follow up with SP to double checkVerifying and posting of Free domicile invoicesSending out Expeditors billing invoices either by e-mail or Canada Post as per DLSOP for the clientOverseas liaison between shipper and Expeditors destination office and consigneeCustomer requests: POD’s, tracing assisting in document preparation as required or instructedSet up of clients pre-alerts, Scanning documents into eDocEnsure that DLSOP’s are followed.Ensure adhere with department Service Level of Agreement while dealing with customer emails and phone calls.

Qualifications6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Understanding of air documentation process a plus.Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.Pro-active, strong organizational skills.Good computer skills (Excel, Word).IATA certification (preferred)Fluent in English.

Annual compensation is from CAD 45,000 to 52,000.
