Logistics Coordinator

Essential Functions:

• Possess thorough knowledge of Donaldson shipping procedures, authorized carriers, packing list requirements, shipment markings, and packaging.

• Prepare export documents required for international shipments.

• Arrange transportation to meet customer requirements.

• Generate Bills of Lading, process and transmit daily shipping documents.

• Track and trace package shipments.

• Prepare packaging for international shipments.

• Classify and apply correct values and obtain country of origin for dutiable shipments.

• Resolve shipping complaints.

• Prepare various reports as needed.

• Verify the accuracy of outgoing shipments and orders

• Maintain complete and accurate records of all shipping paperwork

• Communicate effectively with all plant personnel and external customers

• Operate a powered industrial truck and pallet jack in a safe and efficient manner; provide daily care and preventative maintenance as needed

• Demonstrate the ability to complete standardized duties and tasks

• Comply with standard work practices and SOPs

• Comply with all EHS and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED required

• A minimum of one (1) year related experience

• Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal

• Ability to work under a moderate degree of supervision

• Ability to work cross-functionally with all departments in a professional manner

• Exhibit attention to detail

• Flexibility and agility in an ever-changing environment

• Consistent attendance and punctuality

• Ability to work overtime as required by the business

• Perform a variety of tasks safely throughout the day in a fast-paced work environment

• A minimum of one (1) year of Forklift experience and certification

• Hazmat Ground Shipper Certification (DOT) or the ability to obtain it within 60 days of hire

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

• Sit or stand for an extended amount of time

• Working in and/or around loud machinery

• The ability to handle repetitive motion
