Job Description

Supports and assists the Department Manager in administering and coordinating the activities of the plant’s warehouse and logistics operation to ensure we are managing the operation in a cost-effective manner.  Main responsibility is to review and route all releases from Customer Service to carriers for delivery to our customers.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

Main Processing System SAPCreating Pick list for Material Handler out of SAPPrint out Bill of lading for outgoing loads.Support the material handlers needs with Pick sheets (Raise tolerances)Determine if shipment is a truckload or less than truckload (LTL) quantity.Transactions from Plant to Plant.Transactions from Outside Warehouse to ASF and ACF PlantsHot/Rushed Orders after hours.Working with Outside Warehouse/Inner Company Driver on hot rushed orders.Assist with any Problem-Solving issue that arise from plant personal…Create Railcar inbounds and process the Load/Unloading forms.Receiving in Raw Material and labeling the palletsResin adjustmentsDispositions itemsFile paperwork that was processed by them daily.Set up Vendor ReturnsMonthly GMP Cleaning taskCycle counts/problem solving.Analyze releases to determine if orders of LTL can be combined into truckload shipments.Determine if material is produced and ready for shipment.Carriers are routed through Uber Freight.Follow up with carrier if load wasn’t picked up.Communicate with Logistics Manager daily.Communicates with Planning on transit issues or delays on shipments.Communicates with Planning on release issues, items not ready in time to ship, on quality hold or releases that are entered too heavy to make one shipment. Working out revisions to shipments with customer service reps based on issues associated with a particular shipment.LTL and truckload shipments as well as maximizing truckload weights to above a 42,000Lb average.

Associates Degree or equivalent experience, preferred2-5 years of experience in logistics/freight in a manufacturing environment
