Responsibilities 

Understand and apply the fundamentals of imports and exports. Maintain integrated relationship with Broker, Freight Forwarder and Customs.  Communicate information to Broker who arranges the paperwork and releases to the Customer.  Communicate product delivery information. Prepare appropriate documentation including import licenses. Request shipment of material when available Follow the steps to receive & check documents, ensure no discrepancy; may have to request revised documents.  Knowledgeable of the Import Trade System  Knowledgeable of the Harmonized Code (HS Code) Follow the customs clearance process. Follow product through transportation and into warehouse.   Create and maintain interregional shipping procedures and drive standardization and excellence. Receive shipment documentation, validate information, and prepare necessary paperwork.   Interact with warehouse for appropriate packaging/repackaging for meeting customer needs. Shall adhere to all company policies, rules and regulations and committed to company’s quality and continuous improvement programs such as MS ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by his superior To generate and assign weekly and monthly report as required. To ensure Logistic Team adhered to the work instruction/SOP on their daily job function. Able to handle and coordinate stock readiness/Material availability with other stakeholder /supply site and maintain the stock ready for shipment preparation. Ensure all the order/Intercompany shipment /ORDER are well arrange for dispatch and meet the required date.  Backup Singapore logistic team for support. Handling Shipment booking, working closely with 3PL Services Provider, Custom brokers, 3PL warehouse as well as Haulage services Provider (transportation Coordination) Arrangement with 3PL Services Provider – monthly or quarterly meeting Monthly reporting – Oflow, Power BI and movement (Monthly) reporting OTT Monthly reporting update Handle custom complaints related to shipment/Logistic.  FTA – Free Trade Agreement – application. Custom Office – Penjenisan (ruling letter) Application Follow up with vendor/Intercompany of shipping documents.  Transportation Coordination – Haulage (local & cross border) Bulk shipment handling (ISO-Tank)
  Job Requirements At least Diploma & above with 3-5 years logistic working experience in manufacturing environment. High proficiency in MS Windows, Words, Excel, and Sales Force SFDC, SAP competency is a plus.  Good command spoken & written English. Knowledgeable of Import Trade System (ITS) and Trade Compliance Policy Knowledgeable of Ministry of Trade/Malaysia Investment & Development Trade policy. Knowledgeable of Custom Harmonised Tariff Code (HS Code) Proactive & work under pressure with minimal supervision.
