The pay for the position: $80,000 - $100,000 per year
The starting pay: This is a component pay position, $.63 per mile, $15 to bump a dock(2 a day) $25.50 a day for performance goals
Schedule: Must be willing to travel 5 days per week! Leave out on Sunday’s return home on Thursdays

Main Ingredients of the Job
As a US FOODS® Logistics Truck Driver, you will be operating a tractor-trailer traveling Over The Road, across the country to 3-7 Vendors and US FOODS® distribution centers throughout the week to pick up and drop off bulk products. Our Logistics Truck Drivers will be driving 1800 to 3400 miles per week focused on safety. Your efforts are the foundation that defines US FOODS® success based on our pillars of cultural beliefs, work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service.
Perform all pre-trip responsibilities including the inspection of the truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation regulations. Check accident kit. Deliver products to multiple centers in a timely and safe manner.Verify freight on truck and required trailer temperatures.Verify proper invoices and properly enter required information into Xata or other on-board computer system. Complete logs and manifest(s).Visually survey Vendor and Company distribution centers during the approach to determine hazards.Perform all post-trip responsibilities: perform safety checks on the vehicle; fuel; unhook and secure trailer; park and secure tractor and hand truck; complete Department of Transportation (DOT) logs (electronic or manual as required) and company vehicle maintenance reports (DVIR) and reconcile these with the appropriate company representative as required.What You Bring to the Table
Must be at least 21 years of age.Minimum 1 year over the road commercial driving experience or six months with a beverage delivery company or as a foodservice delivery representative required. Must not have more than two convictions in the past two year period for moving traffic violations; not have a DUI conviction in the past three years (regardless of type of vehicle operated); not have driver’s license suspended for traffic violations with the past three years. High School Diploma/GED preferred, however, must be able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations. Must have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide). Must have a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL), class A, issued by state of legal residence. Must meet the medical requirements of the Department of Transportation (DOT). Must be willing to work flexible hours.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Must be able to use, or learn to use, all equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) i.e. XATA, and tools used to perform the job. Must know/have ability to learn MSDS information regarding all material used within the scope of the work. Must be able to apply tire chains. Must be able to perform coupling procedures (drop and hook). Must possess customer service skills.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $80,000 and $100,000.
As applicable, this role will also receive component pay. $.63 per mile, $15 to bump a dock (2 a day) $25.50 a day for performance goals.
