We are looking for a Logistics Expert to strengthen the Finance team of our Buildings Business Unit in Beersel (Huizingen). In this position, you will work exclusively for the export product business to Maghreb countries within the Sales Team.

Your main responsibility will be to ensure a smooth shipping process and excellent customer service.

 

Your tasks:

Order Processing Order Entry and Management: Accurately enter and manage export orders in the system, ensuring all details are correct and up to date. Manage and process export orders from receipt to delivery. Order Confirmation: Confirm receipt of orders with customers/partners and provide order acknowledgments, quotations, proforma invoices, etc. including expected delivery dates and all relevant information. Order Tracking: Monitor the status of orders throughout the entire process, from receipt to delivery, and provide regular updates to customers. Document Preparation: Prepare and review all necessary export documents, including customs documents, export declarations, invoices, packing lists, delivery notes, country of origin etc. and provide them to the relevant parties. Compliance Checks: Ensure all orders comply with relevant export regulations and company policies before processing. Stay updated on export regulations and ensure all orders comply with international trade laws and regulations. Coordination with Internal Departments: Collaborate with relevant departments and parties to ensure timely fulfilment of orders. Customer/Partner Communication Customer/Partner Relationship Management: Maintain and enhance relationships with customers/partners through regular communication. Customer/Partner Support: Provide excellent service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and keeping customers/partners informed about their order status. Proactive Communication: Proactively communicate any delays, changes, or issues with orders to customers/partners and work to find solutions. Logistics and Shipping Shipping Coordination: Arrange and coordinate the shipment of goods with freight forwarders and logistics providers, ensuring timely, accurate and cost-effective delivery. Coordinate and monitor international transportation of goods. Shipping Documentation: Ensure all shipping documents are accurate and complete, and that they accompany the shipment as required and are provided to customers/partners. Customs Clearance: Oversee the customs clearance process, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided and any issues are promptly resolved. Complaints Handling Inquiry and Complaint Handling: Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely and efficient manner. Process Optimization: Analysing and improving processes along the value chain to increase efficiency and cost effectiveness. Implementing best practices and new technologies for process optimization  

Your skills:

Experience in shipping processes for export to Maghreb/African countries Structured and detail-oriented Fluent French and English Knowledge of SAP SD is a plus Experience with EUR1 and Incoterms is a plus
