As a Defense and Technology Solutions Intern, you will:

Provide technical support in acquisition logistics, or related field working in such areas as research, design, development, testing, or program improvement. Perform simple routine tasks under close supervision or from detailed procedures.Use your ability to interpret complex information in a non-technical and engaging manner.Identify problematic areas in data, logistics processes, doctrine and conduct the necessary research to provide a lasting solution.

Selected interns for this paid opportunity will be provided with growth opportunities in their field of study, gain experience and establish a name for themselves in this high demand career field. 

Anticipated Skill Set:

Experience with Microsoft ™ Office® applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).Ability to interpret statutory and regulatory doctrine and apply it to acquisition logistics.Perform analyses on U.S. Army force management documents, for both equipment and personnel.Interpret product drawings, bills of materials, parts lists, technical manuals and bulletins, engineering change proposals, along with technical data packages to assist in project research and development.Major field of study: Logistics, Logistics Engineering, or any related technical degree with appropriate experience.

Scheduled Weekly Hours:  

Average 40 hours per week.

Basic Compensation:

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Requirements:

Must be a US CitizenMust pass a Security Pre-Screen and can obtain a USG security clearance.Must be in a 4-year degree program in a related field from an accredited college or university.Candidate must have a Junior or Senior standingThis job is on site with no remote work possible.
