LATAM Logistics and Customer Engagement Lead, this role is to be supporting the LATAM Logistics Manager & Coordinators with focus on Customer Engagement and responsible for the overall operational logistics support to the Customer Service Field organization in the relevant areas.
The incumbent is responsible for:
Logistics call resolution; source & arrange shipment of spare parts required for service calls. Key for this resolution is fast response, good communication and determination to find solutions for our customers.Inventory levels: managing stock level plans and fulfilment to obtain required service level results, Excess & Obsolete execution, Non Targeted Stock / Balancing / Buy Back actionsInventory Integrity: managing stock audits, update stock quantities to ensure integrity, investigate inventory discrepancies, in transit management, distress (parts return failure) resolution.The incumbent directly interfaces with the Territory Manager and his team of customer engineers and addition to the Field Service Coordinators to ensure a maximum level of logistics support.
3PL Adherence to Process and 3PL Operational Improvement working closely with Commodity managers including defect review and action based on voice of customer (Field / COL )
Self-starter with the ability to organize oneself, unearthing fundamental issues in service delivery where parts and logistics are involved.
Methodical approach to the relevant improvement opportunities presenting in this role.
Other Basic Responsibilities:
Executes strategies, programs, and initiatives associated with the requirements for call resolution and planning of service parts inventory for an NCR geographic region/area.Monitors back orders, expedites deliveries, and manages inventory levels in support of business requirements.Maintains targeted service level objectives by constantly monitoring of open service calls suspended for parts.Acts as the single point of contact for service parts availability issues between the Customer Service organization and various other organizations (including local CS management, Customer Account Team personnel, Logistics Analysts, and various global organizations).Within the LATAM Service Parts function, the job holder is expected to be fully responsible for the following activities:
Network OptimizationScrap ReviewNTS/Balancing/Buy BacksConsigned Redundant Stock working with COLAuto Repair & Local Parts management, expansion of Auto Repair, Local Parts Correctly Set Up & Documentation & On Going Management Account SupportBasic Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience Strong communication skills, oral and written (English & Spanish)Strong problem-solving skillsExpected to have good PC skills to aid/assist in the completion of essential job responsibilities.Experience in Oracle ES desirable.Other duties may be assigned.Offers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job
