About the Position: This position is located with the Army Sustainment Command, Army Field Support Brigade-CONUS-West, LSE Fort Riley KS Responsibilities Perform multi-functional logistics planning, budget formulation, operations, supply, maintenance, doctrine, training, and administration to support Installation Logistics Division requirements. Responsible for special projects encompassing all aspects of planning and logistics support for long and short-range operations and exercises. Determine the need for and plan detailed assessments of logistics situations which may adversely affect readiness. Plan, conduct, and coordinate studies to assist in developing, reviewing, and analyzing all facets of logistics in support of contingency, emergency, and mobilization operations for the installation. Coordinate with and serve as liaison to the Directorate of Public Works, installation office, and other staff support personnel regarding LRC functions and operation elements. Prepare and implement logistics contingency, emergency, and mobilization plans. Receive staff actions pertaining to logistics matters requiring coordination of input from commodity managers with the Logistics Readiness Center (LRC). Provide recommendations to the Division Chief based on policies and guidance received from higher headquarters concerning emergency planning and contingency programs.
